Wilkinson Public Library

Telluride, Colorado

The orientation and form of the 20,000 sf building are designed to take advantage of the limited light available in Telluride to daylight the interior reading areas. The design evokes the historical nature of the site with a reading room shaped as a cylindrical form that evokes a water tower used by railway during Telluride’s mining past.
