Captivating views of the Owl Creek Valley near Aspen influenced the design of this 8,500 s.f. home situated on a shallow knolltop among an old grove of scrub oak trees. A combination of tall stone piers and log post and beams define the structure, which gives the home an intimate sense of grandeur. The kitchen is a casual combination of woods and finishes overlooking the dining and living Rooms. Planks resawn from old beams were used for the floors.
